What a Cold and Rainy Day…

Enchiladas ready for you! Eat in or Take out!

Yep. We’re open today. Folks will be working, scuttling through the messy streets wondering why they can’t be sitting by the fire with a good book and a hot drink. Come on by our house as you can — in a sled pulled by mules if you dare — and we’ll give you reason to brave the weather: good, hot, home-cooked food.

Eat in or take out — call us (318) 267-4457!

Just a reminder: Shredded pork enchiladas, Spanish rice with black beans, and cole slaw with lime & cilantro dressing. Shredded pork loin with a house made enchilada sauce lovingly wrapped in thick corn tortillas help rethink “pigs in a blanket.” Spanish rice cooked with tomatoes, green chilis, and black beans come complemented by a surprisingly delicious slaw with fresh Mexican flavors.

Yes, we’ll have some hot, fresh house made bread for you!

You can find our house at 828 Julia Street in Rayville, Louisiana.

Thanks for letting us serve you, and may God bless you richly as you sit at the table.

“As far as her mom was concerned, tea fixed everything. Have a cold? Have some tea. Broken bones? There’s a tea for that too. Somewhere in her mother’s pantry, Laurel suspected, was a box of tea that said, ‘In case of Armageddon, steep three to five minutes.'” — Aprilynne Pike, from her book “Illusions”
