Hey friends, we’re back in the kitchen preparing some wonderful food just for you! We’ve got a great week of specials from Mrs. Clélie’s kitchen. Here’s what’s cooking for you this week: beefsteak tacos on fresh tortillas, sandwich and wrap Wednesdays, and pork scallopini on creamy polenta!
What We’re Cooking for You This Week

Beefsteak tacos on fresh tortillas with pickled red onions and roasted corn, charro black beans, and fresh salsa. We take marinated, slow-cooked beefsteak, add it to fresh tortillas, top it with pickled red onions and roasted fresh corn, feta crumbles, and avocado crema, and serve it with our own charro black beans and fresh house-made salsa. The late, sun-glassed musician Roy Orbison notes, “I may be a living legend, but that sure don’t help when I’ve got to change a flat tire.”
We’ll have a special tomato basil soup available all week!
Sandwich & Wrap Wednesday, June 21, 2017
Sandwiches and wraps Wednesdays! We’ll have all our sandwiches and wraps available for lunch on Wednesdays: chicken salad, grilled pimento cheese and bacon, garden fresh BLT, fried green tomato BLT, grilled chicken, our jalapeño bun hamburger, or our chicken bacon ranch wraps. Saveur Magazine says, “Great sandwiches don’t happen by accident: You’ve got to balance moistness and crunch, weigh toppings and main components, choose bread that will make each element shine, and construct them so that every bite yields the ultimate satisfaction.” Well, it seems a bit much for describing the lowly sandwich, but we would agree that well-constructed sandwiches make the day ultimately satisfying.

Pork scallopini with creamy polenta, house salad, and house bread. Marinated pork tenderloin pounded thinly and lightly breaded is served atop our creamy polenta with house salad and house bread. Great storyteller Hans Christian Anderson observed, “Every man’s life is a fairy tale written by God’s fingers.” Come join us at the table, we’d love to see you!
