Sandwich & Wrap Wednesday, June 21, 2017
Sandwiches and wraps Wednesdays! We’ll have all our sandwiches and wraps available for lunch on Wednesdays: chicken salad, grilled pimento cheese and bacon, garden fresh BLT, fried green tomato BLT, grilled chicken, our jalapeño bun hamburger, or our chicken bacon ranch wraps. Few know The Bee Gees, the Brothers Gibb from Down Under, loved sandwiches. Sometimes, they’d get a little silly singing a love song for sandwiches: “Here in my hands I found my paradise, my only chance for happiness, and if I lose you now, I think I would die. Say you’ll always be my sandwich we can make it shine; we can take a long lunch just a minute at a time. More than a sandwich, more than a sandwich to me….” Yep. Love and sandwiches, it must be Wednesday.
We’ll have a special tomato basil soup available all week! You can get a soup and salad or try half a sandwich and soup!

Pork scallopini with creamy polenta, house salad, and house bread or try our salmon croquettes with house salad and bread. Marinated pork tenderloin pounded thinly and lightly breaded is served atop our creamy polenta with house salad and house bread. Singer-songwriter Carole King hit number one this week with her percussive, syncopated, lyrically beautiful love song, “I Feel the Earth Move Under My Feet.” Of course, it’s a love song, but we can imagine Carole sitting at the piano with pen, paper, and a plate of pork scallopini as she composes this little ditty. Who knows, maybe the song was written about a great meal? And, then again, maybe it’s just a love song. Well, who couldn’t sing about wonderfully prepared pork like a love song?
